Talking a little more about tequila Sauza Tres Generaciones (3G)

There are three different kind of tequilas:

Tres Generaciones Blanco (100% agave)
COLOR - Brilliantly clear and colourless.
AROMA - Mild fleshy agave with hints of citrus and sweet floral notes.
BODY -    Smooth and light with clean tingle.
TASTE -   Initial spiciness, with toasted oak, on a background of herbs and fresh agave. It is exceptionally well balanced with no bite or burn.
FINISH -   Lingering white pepper, finishing clean and cool.

Tres Generaciones Reposado (100% agave)
COLOR - Bright gold.
AROMA - Pepper, spice, and herbs in balance with light oak character.
BODY -    Smooth, round and slightly sweet.
TASTE -   Initial spiciness, with toasted oak, on a background of herbs and fresh agave.
FINISH -   Warm and dry with lingering white pepper.

Tres Generaciones AƱejo (100% agave)
COLOR - Pale Amber.
AROMA - Strong toasted oak with light cooked agave and a hint of caramel-vanilla sweetness.
BODY -    Round, smooth and complex.
TASTE -   A full and balanced blend that starts with a brown sugar sweetness, and fades to soft oak and clean agave.
FINISH -   Warm oaky finish.

Tequila Season starts tomorrow

The annual Tequila Festival at Cafe Pacifico and the La Perla Bar & Grills is an important date in the diary for discerning drinkers. Tequila season has been successfully running for six years in all three restaurants with support of Tomas Estes (Tequila Ambassador to the European Union). The aim behind this festival is to promote premium tequilas to enable customers to change their perception about tequila. Each brand will be allocated two weeks to showcase the product and reach the awareness of a new audience. Brands will be included in the following order:

Jose Cuervo and 1800 from 3 August to 16 August
Jose Cuervo is the biggest tequila company in the world and has had a fundamental impact on establishing tequila as a worldwide drink.

Sauza 3G from 17 August to 30 August
Sauza was founded in 1873 and is one of the oldest tequila companies combining traditional processes with a demand for a high-quality spirit.

Calle 23 from 31 August to 13 September
Although Calle 23 has only just been launched in the UK, it has already proved to be competitive brand with an unprecedented following.

Alma Mia from 14 September to 27 September
This fine tequila is popular with celebrities in the UK despite only being its first year in the UK and tequila season.

Don Julio from 28 September to 11 October
Don Julio is a well-established brand of tequila, which is popular for its high-standards and exquisite taste.

Tapatio from 12 October to 25 October
Tapatio is made by the Camarena family (one of the more traditional tequila families) and is regarded as one of the finest tequilas to sip.

Ocho form 26 October to 8 November
The first ever tequila to produce a different vintage every year. It has quickly become the bartenders' favourite for its unique appeal.

Siete Leguas from 9 November to 22 November
Siete Leguas is a consistent tequila that is made in the traditional way and a popular choice for casual tequila drinkers.
